Red Bean Cook-Off

Saturday, May 8, 2021, 4-7 PM, Diamondhead Town Green

CASA of Hancock County and the City of Diamondhead host the Red Bean Cook-Off event to raise awareness and funds to support abused and neglected children in Hancock County. Grab your friends a form a team to enter, or come out to sample Hancock County’s finest red bean recipes.

General admission tickets are $10 per person and include a tasting from each team’s entry. Drinks and desert will be available for purchase. COVID-friendly pickup will be available.

Entertainment provided by the Dave Mayley Band.

Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place, Best Cornbread, Best Decorated Booth, Best Non-traditional Bean, and People’s Choice. Winners will be announced at 6:30 PM.

Entry is $100 per team and includes admission for four people. No electricity is available, so teams must be self sufficient. Additional rules on the enclosed forms.

There are four sponsor levels available. Sponsors play a vital role in offsetting event costs, so that all proceeds may benefit abused and neglected children.
