On Tuesday, May 16th CASA of Hancock County held its Annual Advocate Appreciation event at The Blind Tiger. Advocates had the opportunities to enjoy boiled crawfish while getting better acquainted with volunteers they may not have known. The patio at TBT was a perfect setting for our casual In-Service training and appreciation. Typically, our volunteers come to monthly In-Service sessions to further their knowledge of topics related to their advocacy, however, this event was all about team building and celebrating the volunteers for all they do for their kids. We’d like to thank The Blind Tiger for sponsoring the event and for being proud partners in our work on behalf of children in Hancock County.
