CASA of South Mississippi Hosts Annual “Grateful for You” Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

Gulfport, MS – [November 4, 2024] – CASA of South Mississippi is proud to announce its Annual Grateful for You Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, an evening dedicated to honoring the selfless volunteers who advocate for children in Harrison, Hancock, and Stone Counties. This special event, sponsored by the Golden Nugget and Volunteer Mississippi, will take place on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the Golden Nugget Biloxi Hotel and Casino from 5:30-8:30pm.

Each year, CASA recognizes the vital contributions of its volunteers, who play a crucial role in ensuring that children in the foster care system receive the support and advocacy they need to thrive. This year, attendees will be treated to an inspiring keynote address by Ashley Rhodes-Courter, a New York Times bestselling author. Rhodes-Courter will share her personal journey through Florida’s foster care system and highlight the transformative impact her CASA volunteer had on her path to permanency through adoption.
